Tourist tragically killed while visiting Puerto Rico for Bad Bunny concert

A New York tourist has been killed while visiting Puerto Rico for a Bad Bunny concert

Kevin Mares, 25, was fatally shot in La Perla, a shantytown along the coast near Old San Juan, early Sunday while visiting the island for Bad Bunny’s concert residency.

His mother told The New York Daily News that he had planned to proposed to his girlfriend in the fall.

Police told the Associated Press that Mares was next to a fight which broke out at a local bar called ‘Shelter for Mistreated Men.’

One man involved allegedly pulled a gun and opened fire, striking at least three people.

Mares was hit in the left side of his abdomen and rushed to the island’s largest public hospital.
