Hailie Jade—Eminem’s daughter—makes a surprising pivot, aiming to become a real estate star with the launch of an HGTV-style home renovation series, revealing bold ambitions to build her own empire that leaves fans both shocked and eagerly following her every move

Rapper Eminem‘s daughter Hailie Jade is preparing to launch herself into the world of real estate-centric reality TV with the release of a new HGTV-style digital series in which she will document her attempts at renovating her best friend’s Detroit home.

The 29-year-old, who is the daughter of Eminem and his ex-wife, Kim Scott, filmed the series at the start of 2025, when she was still heavily pregnant with her son, Elliot Marshal McClintock, who was born in March.

“At the beginning of this year, I fully transformed my podcast co-host and lifelong best friend Brittany’s 1990s home, turning it into her dream space,” Hailie shared while announcing the series launch on her Instagram.

“Watch as I design and renovate against the clock as we race to complete the project before I have my baby!⁣”

Though the series, titled “Just a Little Reno,” marks Hailie’s first documented venture into home renovation, she explained in a statement that her love of property design dates back many years—to her dorm room at Michigan State.

Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade is launching a new HGTV-style digital series that will document the renovation of her best friend’s Detroit home.
Hailie, 29, revealed that she first fell in love with decor while she was a student at Michigan State. However, the renovation of her pal Brittany’s house was her most ambitious yet.

“Over the years, from my first apartment to renovating my own house, built in the ’90s, I realized how much I love the entire process of transforming a living space,” she explained.

“My passion for interior design started when I moved into my college dorm at Michigan State—I became obsessed with making that little space feel like home,” she revealed.

The influencer and podcast host confessed that the project proved to be more complicated than they initially predicted.

Her love of home renovation soon spread to her friends, who began enlisting Hailie to help them transform their own spaces, she continued.

“When my friends started asking for help with their homes, it felt like a full-circle moment,” she said. “That’s what inspired ‘Just a Little Reno’—it was so energizing to help one of my closest friends bring her first home to life. It’s not just about paint and furniture; it’s about creating spaces that tell a story.”

In a trailer for the four-part series—which premieres on June 27—Hailie is seen working with a talented team on every aspect of the renovation process, from demolition of its dated interiors to an elegant decor overhaul that helps to give the home a bright and modern feel.

“Renovations can be messy. But all the dust and drama is worth it, especially when the result is a beautiful space you’re proud to call home,” Hailie said, while revealing clips of the home’s impressive transformation.

She also confessed that the project was not without its hurdles, revealing that the transformation of the home proved to be more complicated than the team had anticipated.

During the early years of her life, Hailie shied away from the spotlight, but in recent years she has been more open about her relationship with her famous father.

A trailer for her series, which debuts on June 27, shows a few glimpses of the before and after.

“From demo to reno, follow along as we take a house from dated to outstanding,” she says in the trailer. “It’s definitely biting off a little bit more than what we originally expected.”

Speaking to People about the series, Hailie explained that she learned some very useful skills during the renovation process, specifically communication—which was essential while she was working on the site while her husband, Evan, was at home.

Hailie was heavily pregnant with her first child during filming—and joked that the show helped to prepare her for motherhood.

“Renovating while pregnant taught me just how important communication and teamwork really are—whether it was with contractors on the job site or with my husband at home.”

She added that the renovation experience helped to prepare her for the more “unpredictable” parts of motherhood.

“In many ways, it felt like a preview of parenthood: unpredictable, messy, and full of moments that require patience,” she said.

“In life and home projects alike, having the right team and strong communication makes all the difference.”

The series marks the latest foray that Hailie had made into the spotlight, having spent much of the early years of her life shying away from the public eye.

However, in recent years, she has embarked upon a new career as an influencer and a podcast host, a path that has seen her shed new light on her upbringing as the daughter of a global music superstar.

In an August 2024 episode of her podcast, “Just a Little Shady,” she admitted that she sometimes struggles to listen to her father’s music without getting emotional, particularly those that reference his past struggles with drugs.

Speaking about Eminem’s collaboration with singer Jelly Roll, titled “Somebody Save Me,” Hailie said that she found it hard to watch the music video—but added that it did give her a newfound respect for how her parents managed to shield her from the darkest parts of their lives.

“I will say, watching the video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn’t realize how bad things were,” she said. “But now, like as an adult in hindsight, it’s so scary to think about. And I think that’s why I get emotional so much, like just thinking that could have happened.”

At a 2022 concert in Santiago, Chile, something extraordinary happened. Marc Martel sat at the piano and played the first notes of Queen’s tender ballad — and before he even reached the first line, 10,000 people spontaneously joined in. No cue. No invitation. Just one voice echoing the spirit of Freddie Mercury — and a crowd moved to tears. Some wept. Others grabbed the hands of strangers as the words “You’ve hurt me” soared through the air — hauntingly identical to Freddie’s own. Di3-hard Queen fans who had seen Freddie live confessed: “It’s the first time I’ve truly felt that magic again in over 30 years.” Martel never took singing lessons. Never tried to replace a legend. Are you ready to hear “Love of My Life” as if Freddie himself were singing it — one last time?
