As Robert Plant enjoys his special day, fans are making sure to let him know that he’s the “greatest.”

The music legend—who served as the lead singer and lyricist for iconic English rock band Led Zeppelin from 1968 to 1980—is celebrating his 77th birthday today, August 20.

Rolling Stone honored Plant in an Instagram post that included a carousel of photos of the acclaimed rockstar over the years, writing, “Happy birthday, Robert Plant!”

Fans praised their favorite musician in the comments, with one calling him “one of the world[‘]s greatest singer-songwriters” and the “greatest rocker.”

“Mr. R. PLANT is the greatest rockstar of all time [in] rock history!” another said.

“Happy Birthday Robert, one of the best to ever do it,” a third fan wrote, in part.

“Happy birthday Legend,” a fourth commented.

A fifth fan named Plant as the “best ever,” while a sixth dubbed him “The Golden God.”

“THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGENDARY ROBERT PLANT. HAPPY BIRTHDAY,” another said.

Plant is getting ready to embark on his 2025 North American Roar In The Fall Tour with his band, Saving Grace, which kicks off on October 30 in Wheeling, West Virginia, according to his website.

The band will then head to Charlottesville, Virignia before arriving in Washington, D.C. and New York City.

Saving Grace’s next stops will include Boston, Massachusetts; Port Chester, New York; Toronto, Ontario; Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; Seattle, Washington; Vancouver, British Columbia; Oakland, California; and Los Angeles, California.

The tour will conclude in Valley Center, California, on November 23.

Due to high demand, the band as already added more shows and will now perform in London, England on September 29.

On August 13, the band members shared an Instagram post that read, in part, “Due to massive demand Robert Plant and Saving Grace will perform two additional shows on Monday 29 September in Kingston, London.”

Fans expressed their excitement in the comments, with one writing, “So great to see Robert and Saving Grace drawing huge audiences for their magical shows. Robert is a true musical treasure and living legend.”

“The best!” another said.
