Bryant mentioned the role Roc Nation played in securing his $70 million contract extension, while Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones pointed to those negotiations as the reason why he prefers to speak directly with players instead of their agents amid an ongoing dispute with superstar defensive end Micah Parsons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the words \u201cRoc Nation\u201d set Nicki Minaj off, and the two got into an argument that included Minaj pulling up receipts about Bryant\u2019s legal history and Bryant\u00a0discussing Minaj\u2019s husband,\u00a0Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During that rant, Minaj offered Bryant $10 million to fight her husband. Unsurprisingly, Bryant did not take her up on that offer, but the idea of a former NFL wide receiver fighting a man off the street did\u00a0spark plenty of jokes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, there has been a bit of a positive update in the chaos. Both sides of the petty war of words issued public apologies to each other via X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI really don\u2019t like the misunderstanding we had between each other,\u201d wrote Bryant. \u201cI apologize for bringing up your husband\u2019s past. It\u2019s a shame only negative things make headlines between two Black people who have so much influence on our community [\u2026] The last thing I wanna do is argue over stupid s**t.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Minaj accepted the apology. \u201cNothing makes me respect someone more than a public display of accountability.\u201d She did still jokingly offer to put on the fight between Bryant and Petty, but wished Bryant \u201call the best\u201d in conclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nicki-minaj-dez-bryant\"><span id=\"nicki-minaj-dez-bryant\">Nicki Minaj Dez Bryant<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dez Bryant has previously called himself a fan of Nicki Minaj\u2019s, and now the two appear to be back on cordial terms.
