Billy Joel\u00a0and his wife, Alexis, are celebrating the birthday of their daughter Della Rose, who turned 10 on Tuesday, August 12. In honor of Della Rose\u2019s big day, the couple posted a heartfelt message to her on Billy\u2019s\u00a0social media pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accompanying the message is a photo of Billy, Alexis, Della, and her younger sister, Remy, on a beach. The apparent vacation pic also features a few wild pigs surrounding the Joel clan. In addition, the post features an adorable home video of Della when she was several years younger, capturing her searching the house for her dad, whom she calls, simply, \u201cPiano Man.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video, which was shot by Alexis, begins with her asking her young daughter, \u201cWho are you looking for?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was looking for Piano Man,\u201d Della answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her mom then asks, \u201cWhere is he?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Della responds, \u201cI was looking for him by his motorcycles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alexis follows with, \u201cBut now where do you think he is?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Della says, \u201cUpstairs,\u201d and explains that she heard her dad making coughing noises there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The child then begins walking up a short flight of stairs as Alexis follows her. Della then turns the corner into a room, and we hear her exclaim, \u201cHi, Piano Man!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Alexis gets to the top of the stairs, we hear Billy answer, \u201cHi, singing girl!\u201d as he sits at a table in front of a laptop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As mentioned earlier, Della is the oldest of Joel\u2019s two daughters with Alexis. Their younger daughter, Remy, will be eight in October 2025. Billy also has a 39-year-old daughter, Alexa, with his second wife, supermodel Christie Brinkley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Della is indeed a singing girl, as are Alexa and Remy. Della has joined her dad numerous times to sing with him at his concerts. Her first public \u201cperformance\u201d with \u201cPiano Man\u201d was at the age of three at a December 2018 concert at Madison Square Garden, where she joined her dad onstage as he sang his 1980 hit \u201cDon\u2019t Ask Me Why.\u201d You can watch fan-shot video of a shy Della\u2019s \u201cshowbiz debut,\u201d as Billy described it, on\u00a0YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
