I\u2019m crying,\u201d one person commented, while another added, \u201cBeautiful tribute to Paul, Julian.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_22-0\">Back in March, McCartney confirmed in an episode of&nbsp;<em>Paul McCartney: A Life in Lyrics<\/em>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<em>iHeartRadio,&nbsp;<\/em>that Julian inspired \u201cHey Jude.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_24-0\">This came after Julian\u2019s parents announced their divorce due to John\u2019s relationship with his second wife&nbsp;Yoko Ono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_26-0\">\u201cI was traveling one day to see<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Julian Lennon and his mother Cynthia and I used to call him Jules,\u201d McCartney said. \u201cSo the song started off as I was in the car driving out, which was a 45-minute drive out of central London. People had sort of suggested, \u2018Oh, I fancied Cynthia\u2019 but people can suggest anything. I didn\u2019t. I was just going out, just as a friend.
