And it has always served her well with the star winning 14 Grammys, becoming the highest-grossing live music artist and a cultural icon of the 21st century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But on Thursday she sent sent shockwaves through the music industry and her fanbase with a huge change in tack as she revealed the sexy cover for her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl \u2013 one of which showed her posing provocatively as she bit her finger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She confirmed that the album will be released on October 3 \u2013 just over a year and a half after the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, while appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce\u2018s New Heights podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another unprecedented element of the new album reveal, she spoke in her most open and personal interview ever with Travis on the podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She revealed the album\u2019s official 12-song track list, confirming the inclusion of the song, Ruin The Friendship, which fans are convinced is a Blake Lively diss track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album covers were captured by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who she last worked with on the album artwork for 2017\u2019s Reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I loved what they did with those photos, so I called them up for [this album],\u2019 she shared on Kelce\u2019s New Heights podcast. \u2018I am so happy with the way the photos came out with this one.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018This is a full send. I care about this record more than I can even overstate.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swift revealed that the album cover is meant to depict what the \u2018end of [her] night\u2019 looks like on tour,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018My day ends with me in a bathtub \u2014 not usually in a bedazzled dress \u2014 but we try to keep it decent,\u2019 Swift joked. \u2018I wanted to glamorize all the different aspects of how [the Eras Tour] felt and [the The Life Of A Showgirl cover] is how that felt at the end of the night.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swift said she chose that image because it best represents the album, which centers around the feelings and experiences in her \u2018offstage\u2019 life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As revealed by Swift, the album\u2019s song titles are: The Fate Of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter, Ruin The Friendship, Actually Romantic, Wi$h Li$t, Wood, CANCELLED!, Honey and The Life Of A Showgirl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The podcast episode also provided devout Swift and Kelce fans with a rare look at their nearly two-year romance \u2013 with many on X calling him a \u2018green flag\u2019 boyfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the sit-down with Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, Swift recalled how her boyfriend first got her attention, when he attended one of her Eras Tour concerts in July 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelce planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but he was unable to meet her after the show. Later, he talked about it on the podcast, which Swift heard, leading to them finally meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018This dude didn\u2019t get a meet and greet, and he\u2019s making it everyone\u2019s problem,\u2019 Swift joked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Karma hitmaker compared their love story to being in \u2018an 80\u2019s John Hughes movie\u2019 adding, \u2018and he was just like standing outside my window with a boom box just being like \u2018I wanna date you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I was like, if this guy isn\u2019t crazy \u2014 which is a big if \u2014 this is sort of what I\u2019ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sweet appearance also featured plenty of PDA, including Kelce kissing Swift\u2019s hand and gushing that he was \u2018the luckiest man in the world.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swift shared how she owed a lot to the New Heights podcast, joking it helped her get a boyfriend because \u2018Travis decided to use [the podcast] as his personal dating app.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis\u2019 brother and co-host Jason then inquired, \u2018Were his friendship bracelets that good? Did you get the friendship bracelet?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I\u2019ve never seen the original,\u2019 Swift quipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis then explained that the bracelets \u2018didn\u2019t leave the stadium because he was \u2018butthurt\u2019 that he didn\u2019t get to meet Swift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018He threw a tantrum. He threw a man tantrum,\u2019 Taylor joked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018It was such a wild, romantic gesture, to just be like, \u2018I wanna date you!\u201d the singer gushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Sweetie, that\u2019s what it does when you\u2019re on stage, you performed in Arrowhead, that\u2019s what it did to me,\u2019 Kelce said. \u2018You come to Arrowhead, I get to meet you. That\u2019s the perk of playing for the Chiefs,\u2019 the NFL star added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor then humorously recalled how Travis \u2018didn\u2019t even reach out\u2019 to her management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018He really was just like, \u2018I know a guy, I can figure this out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She then compared Travis to a John Hughes movie character, joking he was outside her window with a boombox yelling \u2018I wanna date you! Do you wanna go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet. Do you wanna date me?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis then added with a pleading voice, \u2018Just come outside and meet me. Just meet me once. Just give me a chance.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis also jokingly said he was listening to all of Taylor\u2019s songs and knew she wanted him to come to her concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor then imitated Travis\u2019 voice, stating, \u2018I\u2019m upset that you didn\u2019t meet me, even though you didn\u2019t know I wanted to meet you because I didn\u2019t do any proper logistical planning.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Who plans nowadays?\u2019 Travis quipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018It was wild, but it worked,\u2019 Taylor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis then kissed Taylor\u2019s hand, and said he was \u2018the luckiest man in the world.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason then asked Taylor, \u2018How did you know he wasn\u2019t crazy?\u2019 to which the singer humorously replied, \u2018He is crazy, Jason\u2019 before adding, \u2018He\u2019s the good kind of crazy.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She then recalled how Travis went about getting to know her better in a was that was \u2018very natural, very pure, very normal.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grammy winner praised Travis for \u2018the way he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things. He\u2019s just a vibe booster in everyone\u2019s life that he\u2019s in. He\u2019s a human exclamation point.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also gushed about the athlete being \u2018so non-judgmental about people\u2019 adding that he didn\u2019t mind that she lacked knowledge about football when they met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Jason, on our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl (in February 2023) and he looked across the field, across the line of scrimmage, and saw his brother standing 5ft in front of him on the field,\u2019 she shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018It didn\u2019t happen\u2019 Jason chimed in, as both Travis and Taylor laughed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018And he didn\u2019t even look at me\u2026 I now know what an insane question that was. He was like: \u2018Actually I\u2019m on the offense and my brother is the offense and I\u2019m only on the field at the same time as the defense.\u2019 I thought everyone was out there at the same time,\u2019 Taylor shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Well that\u2019s how you played on the playground growing up, so I understand\u2026\u2019 Travis said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I thought it was like Jared Goff is here and Josh Allen is here and they\u2019re going to blow a whistle and they go at each other\u2026 and who\u2019s going to win?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I didn\u2019t know what a first down was, I didn\u2019t know what the chains were, I didn\u2019t know what a tight end was,\u2019 Taylor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis then revealed she was the first person who told him the news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I couldn\u2019t believe it either. I was like \u2018Is she right?\u2019 I have to look this up. Did she get the wrong information here?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elsewhere on the podcast Taylor broke down in tears as she opened up on how she fought for years to reclaim the masters of her music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With over a million fans tuning in for the live stream, she explained how Kelce was playing video games when she found out she had bought the rights back but the NFL star even started weeping when he was told the news. Swift had sent her mother and brother to Los Angeles to negotiate with Shamrock Capital, the owners, on her behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018He was playing video games, and he put his headset down. I was like \u2018I got my music back!\u2019 And I was heaving crying. This changed my life.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
