An upcoming book called \u201cLove, Freddie\u201d, written by Lesley-Ann Jones claims that the late\u00a0Queen\u00a0vocalist Freddie Mercury had a secret daughter who is now a 48 year-old woman. Acccording to the book, as\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0reported, she was born from an affair the musician had in 1976 and it shows 17 detailed journals he had writen for her, starting from when he first knew he was going to be a father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The writter was in contact with the woman, who is a medical professional in Europe for three years. \u201cMy instinct was to doubt everything, but I am absolutely sure she is not a fantasist. No one could have faked all this,\u201d Lesley-Ann Jones said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woman, who had her identity preserved also talked in the book, saying: \u201cFreddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people\u2019s standards, unusual and even outrageous. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me. He cherished me like a treasured possession.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter more than three decades of lies, speculation and distortion, it is time to let Freddie speak. Those who have been aware of my existence kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie. That I choose to reveal myself in my own midlife is my decision and mine alone. I have not, at any point, been coerced into doing this.  He entrusted his collection of private notebooks to me, his only child and his next of kin, the written record of his private thoughts, memories and feelings about everything he had experienced,\u201d the woman said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the book, until now her existence was known only by those in Mercury\u2019s \u201cinner circle\u201d. Freddie Mercury died in 1991 at the age of 45.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
