The musician performed a heartfelt melody for two beluga whales, and one of them became particularly fascinated. It glided to the front of the tank, hovering still, completely focused on the soothing sound of the violin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beluga whales are known for their intelligence, and this whale\u2019s deep connection to the music was undeniable. It\u2019s quite rare for a whale to remain in one spot, calmly paying attention for such a long time. This extraordinary behavior highlighted just how much the whale enjoyed the beautiful performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This touching interaction, recorded by YouTuber Crystal and posted on June 24, 2015, has since gained over 6.3 million views. Many viewers expressed their amazement in the comments. One person noted, \u201cWhen he stopped playing, it\u2019s like the beluga is asking him to play again. What a magnificent creature.\u201d Another commented, \u201cThis musician plays so beautifully. The whale is such an appreciative audience. In another viral video, a beluga whale was seen \u201cdancing\u201d to a saxophone performance, nodding its head to the rhythm as it listened intently. That video has been viewed by over five million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These remarkable moments are not isolated cases. Musicians have shared other videos showing belugas responding to singing, as well as one instance where a three-piece mariachi band played in front of a beluga tank. In each case, the whales reacted in a similar way, moving closer to observe the performances up close. Scientists have found that they possess large, highly complex brains, suggesting advanced problem-solving abilities and sophisticated communication skills.
