Dave Grohl and his daughter Violet Grohl performed an acoustic cover of Adele\u2018s \u201cWhen We Were Young\u201d during a benefit concert in Oakland, California Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 12-year-old Violet ably handled lead vocals on the 25<\/em> single as her father strummed along on acoustic guitar. The solo Grohl set was part of the Notes & Words benefit concert, which raised funds for the UCSF Benioff Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the Adele cover, Grohl\u2019s younger daughter Harper came to the stage to play drums and Violet sang backup when their father played Foo Fighters\u2018 \u201cThe Sky Is a Neighborhood.\u201d The set concluded with Violet on lead vocals and Harper on drums as the Grohls covered Queen\u2019s \u201cWe Will Rock You.\u201d Grohl\u2019s daughters previously appeared in the Foo Fighters\u2018 \u201cThe Sky Is a Neighborhood\u201d video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This wasn\u2019t the first time Harper has drummed for her dad in concert: In June 2017, then-eight-year-old Harper joined the Foo Fighters onstage in Iceland for a drums-only take on the Queen classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-acoustic set also featured the Foo Fighters singer playing his band\u2019s \u201cEverlong,\u201d \u201cMy Hero,\u201d \u201cTimes Like These,\u201d \u201cLearn to Fly\u201d and \u201cBest of You.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
