He played his farewell show at Villa Park in Birmingham. It was a massive charity event where he shared the stage with his Black Sabbath bandmates, along with heavy rock heavyweights like <strong>Metallica<\/strong> and <strong>Guns N&#8217; Roses<\/strong>. Because of his ongoing battle with Parkinson&#8217;s disease, he had to perform from a throne. Despite that, he gave the crowd every ounce of energy he had left. It was never the rock star persona. She saw a man who was genuine, loving, and completely vulnerable. She met him when she was only 18 and eventually took over as his manager after Black Sabbath let him go in 1979. She helped pull him out of deep exhaustion and addiction, pushing him to launch a massive solo career defined by legendary albums like <strong>Blizzard of Ozz<\/strong> and <strong>Diary of a Madman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their relationship was certainly not a fairy tale. They went through some incredibly dark and public struggles, dealing with his substance abuse, infidelity, and violent moments, including the terrifying incident in 1989 when he tried to strangle her. But somehow, they always fought their way back to one another. Sharon was the one who got him into rehab, built the <strong>Ozzfest<\/strong> empire, and stood right beside him as Parkinson&#8217;s slowly took away his mobility. Just two days before the end, a sweet video surfaced showing him smiling at the breakfast table with his daughter Kelly and his grandson Sidney. It was such a quiet, normal family moment. For a guy famous for biting the head off a bat and helping invent heavy metal, it showed the deeply human, tender side that his family got to see every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tributes are already pouring in from every corner of the entertainment world. Adam Sandler, who famously worked with him in the movie <strong>Little Nicky<\/strong>, called him the ultimate legend and the one and only Prince of Darkness.
