Picture a warm summer evening in June 2018. The Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam was completely packed. Robbie Williams was out there dominating his The Heavy Entertainment Show tour. Then he did something nobody expected. He brought out Ed Sheeran, and over 50,000 people in the crowd let out a collective gasp of pure joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here were two massive British music icons from entirely different generations coming together. They stood side by side under the bright stadium lights to perform a stripped-down, acoustic version of Robbie\u2019s defining anthem, “Angels.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robbie took the lead on the first verse, and the audience was already singing every word back to him. The real magic happened when Ed joined in playing his acoustic guitar and added his effortless harmonies.
