That bond looped back at the 2024 MusiCares gala, Jon crowned Person of the Year. Springsteen climbed onstage anew for \u201cLegendary,\u201d \u201cWho Says You Can\u2019t Go Home,\u201d and\u2014of course\u2014\u201dPromised Land.\u201d \u201cTime collapsed,\u201d Jon reflects. \u201cForty years on, and there he is, sharing the light.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bruce arrived fresh from burying his mom\u2014days after her passing. \u201cDidn\u2019t have to show,\u201d Jon notes. \u201cI\u2019d have gotten it. But he did\u2014for MusiCares, for me. Unforgettable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
