I can\u2019t see ever not wanting to do that. Of course, the audience do it all and its all about the audience and sharing that moment. The memories and the fact that were still here\u2026 The legacy lives on. I think Freddie would be so happy about that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cObviously we so often wish Freddie was here to share it with us and John too. Because we kind of lost John as well. It\u2019s very hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bassist John Deacon quit Queen and the music business back in 1997 and ever since remains recluse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rockandrollgarage.com\/the-top-9-best-less-remembered-queen-songs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Queen<\/a>\u2018s drummer Roger Taylor talked about his ex-bandmate&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rockandrollgarage.com\/where-is-john-deacon-queens-recluse-bassist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Deacon<\/a>&nbsp;(Bass) that since Freddie Mercury\u2019s death lives a recluse life. In an interview with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/entertainment\/music\/1304300\/John-Deacon-Queen-bassist-Roger-Taylor-interview-Freddie-Mercury-Bohemian-Rhapsody\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Express UK<\/a>, Taylor said Deacon it\u2019s very fragile and revealed that the last time he saw him was back in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"asked-if-he-kept-in-touch-with-deacon-roger-said\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Asked_if_he_kept_in_touch_with_Deacon_Roger_said\"><\/span>Asked if he kept in touch with Deacon, Roger said:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo we don\u2019t actually. John has sort of consciously excluded himself from the world. He doesn\u2019t like engaging in contact with anybody I think. I think he\u2019s very fragile and we respect that. Although he\u2019s still obviously our sort of business partner in a way; our silent business partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe enjoys the financial rewards, but he really doesn\u2019t want anything to do with the music industry anymore. I don\u2019t think he feels he wants to handle it and all the stuff that goes with it. So no we don\u2019t keep in touch actually.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI last saw John, I think\u2026 We Will Rock You had opened six months before. I saw him there one night, in the bar, he strolled in. And that\u2019s the last time I saw him.
