Her death is being investigated&nbsp;as a possible drug overdose by the authorities, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her friend discussed her outgoing personality with&nbsp;Page Six. She also told how being in the spotlight put a lot of pressure on her, which she struggled to cope with. Anne\u2019s pal, who was not identified, said, \u201cShe made everything fun. She was busy \u2014 I kind of felt like she wasn\u2019t totally happy. People with big personalities sometimes mask things,\u201d the friend, who was not identified, said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anne was planning on trying to forge a career in acting and had been taking improv classes before she died aged 55. Discussing her plan to start action on Tori Spelling\u2019s Misspelling podcast back in March, she said, \u201cInterestingly, I just started taking acting classes. I started yesterday, actually\u2026 It\u2019s like an improv for actors\u2019 class. I got there and it\u2019s like eight people in the class. I\u2019m the oldest one. Every other person has like, \u201cOh, I have a master\u2019s in fine arts in theater.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burrell also joked about the age gap between her and her fellow students. She said, \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, I\u2019ve never taken an acting class. I don\u2019t know, this is new to me.\u2019 I wonder if these delightful and super-talented kids look at me and they\u2019re like, \u2018What\u2019s this old lady doing here?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before she died, Anne had taken a break from her show Worst Cooks In America for season 28. I\u2019ve got more to do in my life, I feel like.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also told how she was dipping her toe into acting, saying, \u201cI feel very excited about it. I\u2019ve got a few other things that I\u2019m working on as well, which I\u2019m not quite ready to share yet. Hopefully, exciting things [are] coming.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burrell, who grew up near Syracuse, and one of her role models when she was younger was late TV chef Julia Child.
