\u201cAt the beginning of this year, I fully transformed my podcast co-host and lifelong best friend\u00a0Brittany<\/strong>\u2019s 1990s home, turning it into her dream space,\u201d Hailie shared while announcing the series launch on her Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWatch as I design and renovate against the clock as we race to complete the project before I have my baby!\u2063\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though the series, titled \u201cJust a Little Reno,\u201d marks Hailie\u2019s first documented venture into home renovation, she explained in a statement that her love of property design dates back many years\u2014to her dorm room at\u00a0Michigan\u00a0State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy passion for interior design started when I moved into my college dorm at Michigan State\u2014I became obsessed with making that little space feel like home,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOver the years, from my first apartment to renovating my own house, built in the \u201990s, I realized how much I love the entire process of transforming a living space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her love of home renovation soon spread to her friends, who began enlisting Hailie to help them transform their own spaces, she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen my friends started asking for help with their homes, it felt like a full-circle moment,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s what inspired\u00a0\u2018Just a Little Reno\u2019\u2014it was so energizing to help one of my closest friends bring her first home to life. It\u2019s not just about paint and furniture; it\u2019s about creating spaces that tell a story.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a trailer for the four-part series\u2014which premieres on June 27\u2014Hailie is seen working with a talented team on every aspect of the renovation process, from demolition of its dated interiors to an elegant decor overhaul that helps to give the home a bright and modern feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRenovations can be messy. But all the dust and drama is worth it, especially when the result is a beautiful space you\u2019re proud to call home,\u201d Hailie said, while revealing clips of the home\u2019s impressive transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also confessed that the project was not without its hurdles, revealing that the transformation of the home proved to be more complicated than the team had anticipated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFrom demo to reno, follow along as we take a house from dated to outstanding,\u201d she says in the trailer. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely biting off a little bit more than what we originally expected.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking to\u00a0People\u00a0about the series, Hailie explained that she learned some very useful skills during the renovation process, specifically communication\u2014which was essential while she was working on the site while her husband,\u00a0Evan<\/strong>, was at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRenovating while pregnant taught me just how important communication and teamwork really are\u2014whether it was with contractors on the job site or with my husband at home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n She added that the renovation experience helped to prepare her for the more \u201cunpredictable\u201d parts of motherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn many ways, it felt like a preview of parenthood: unpredictable, messy, and full of moments that require patience,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIn life and home projects alike, having the right team and strong communication makes all the difference.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The series marks the latest foray that Hailie had made into the spotlight, having spent much of the early years of her life shying away from the public eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, in recent years, she has embarked upon a new career as an influencer and a podcast host, a path that has seen her shed new light on her upbringing as the daughter of a global music superstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In an August 2024 episode of her podcast, \u201cJust a Little Shady,\u201d she admitted that she sometimes struggles to listen to her father\u2019s music without getting emotional, particularly those that reference his past struggles with drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking about Eminem\u2019s collaboration with singer\u00a0Jelly Roll<\/strong>, titled \u201cSomebody Save Me,\u201d Hailie said that she found it hard to watch the music video\u2014but added that it did give her a newfound respect for how her parents managed to shield her from the darkest parts of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI will say, watching the video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn\u2019t realize how bad things were,\u201d she said. \u201cBut now, like as an adult in hindsight, it\u2019s so scary to think about.
