The pedal steel guitar is at its most prominent on \u2018Delivery Man\u2019<\/strong>, with The Boss hauling a lorry load of squawking chickens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inyo<\/em><\/strong>
Written during the 1990s when Bruce road journeyed across the southern border states, this is for the most part just him and his gently strummed guitar. On \u2018Inya\u2019<\/strong> itself, we get to meet \u201cThe children of the Queen of Angels\u201d<\/em> in a song that conjures up the most vivid of desert images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Twilight Hours<\/em><\/strong>
Written in tandem with 2019\u2019s Western Stars<\/em> \u2013 you can tell! \u2013 this twelve-tracker nods furiously to Messrs. David and Bacharach on the opening \u2018Sunday Love\u2019<\/strong>, which is a real warm duvet of a song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
