\u201cI\u2019m sitting on a whole Ozzy record,\u201d Vai admitted. \u201cIt\u2019s like the Gash record\u2014it\u2019s just sitting on the shelf. I don\u2019t have the rights to it. But we recorded some pretty good stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vai explained that while the album would need re-recording to be officially released, the songs they created didn\u2019t sound like anything else. They weren\u2019t typical Ozzy tracks, nor were they cut-and-paste Vai material. They were something new\u2014unexpected, raw, and unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
