\u201cI\u2019ve lost a brother. The world has lost a legend. Ozzy was more than a frontman\u2014he was the heartbeat of Sabbath. That voice, that presence\u2026 there won\u2019t be another like him. Ever.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Iommi\u2019s iconic riffs provided the perfect storm for Ozzy\u2019s eerie melodies and chilling lyrics, together shaping the DNA of heavy metal. Their friendship was known to be as turbulent as it was unbreakable\u2014marked by bust-ups, reunions, and a bond forged in distortion and defiance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even\u00a0Bill Ward<\/strong>, the reclusive founding drummer, who had remained quiet in recent years, posted a rare and heartfelt message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
