I mean, I think there have been many moments that have screamed they are not together, like when both of the artists explicitly said so. I mean, shouldn\u2019t that be enough? Especially in today\u2019s entertainment world where you can probably sell more tickets by actually having a love story. Riley Green even acknowledged that fans want to believe in the \u201cYou Look Like You Love Me,\u201d love story, similar to what Faith Hill and Tim McGraw or George Jones and Tammy Wynette had over the years. So why would they hide or deny it?<\/p>\n\n\n

The rumor mill began swirling and has kept swirling, with some fans believing he\u2019s two-timing Megan Moroney<\/strong> and Ella Langley. That narrative took off after a show in Wilmington, North Carolina, when Ella reacted to a fan\u2019s sign<\/strong> that read:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After we reported on this at Whiskey Riff, Riley Green and Ella Langley commented on our Instagram post, making some comical remarks about what the wink actually meant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBro, my bangs were totally in my eye.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ella Langley wrote. Riley Green also commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe must have thought it said \u2018wink if Riley is a great dancer.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, if you know anything about Ella at all, she\u2019s very funny, pretty sarcastic, and never afraid to talk a little smack with the boys\u2026 you know, like her good friend Riley Green. Just imagine you\u2019re a singer on stage and you saw a sign like that in the crowd about one of your good friends, collaborators and tourmates, of course you\u2019re gonna give a funny answer.<\/p>\n\n\n

While talking to Elaina Smith with Backstage Country, Ella Langley cleared up her response to the fan\u2019s sign in North Carolina, raising her hand and saying that she was \u201cexcited to talk about this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet me tell you, the next day he texted me that video. He said, \u2018Not the sweetest thing I\u2019ve seen.\u2019<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was like, okay, hear me out. This might not be believable to you, which he knows me, so I\u2019m kind of a jokester. I tend to live on the dark side of humor, so whenever I answered that, I was just answering it as myself and not like as \u2018Ella Langley.\u2019 And I was just kind of answering the joke.<\/strong><\/em> Like, obviously it\u2019s a very dramatic wink, and right when it happened, I saw all the phones up there and I was like \u201cOh my god, that\u2019s going to be taken out of context and I\u2019m going to get ripped a new one.\u2019<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I texted and I was like, \u2018Hey, look, I would see that as playful and endearing personally.\u2019 And I saw a lot of women on there saying that they\u2019d say that about their husband, so I was like \u2018See, it\u2019s not that bad.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

HA! I mean, he\u2019s not wrong\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s amusing to see that they are discussing how the online rumors are being perceived. I\u2019ve said it before, and I\u2019ll scream it from the mountain tops, it\u2019s time that we stay out of their personal lives, and honestly, not be so gullible about her jokes. This interview clip certainly suggests that the two are having fun, feeding into the rumor, and share a good sense of humor, and I for one, am here to see this comical side of Ella Langley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
