Nicki Minaj issued an apology to Dez Bryant after their unexpected and strange social media back and forth.

Nicki Minaj pulls Saudi Arabia gig following backlash from human rights activists

Nicki Minaj and former NFL star Dez Bryant got into a vicious back and forth just under a week ago. Bryant mentioned the role Roc Nation played in securing his $70 million contract extension, while Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones pointed to those negotiations as the reason why he prefers to speak directly with players instead of their agents amid an ongoing dispute with superstar defensive end Micah Parsons.

Of course, the words “Roc Nation” set Nicki Minaj off, and the two got into an argument that included Minaj pulling up receipts about Bryant’s legal history and Bryant discussing Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.

During that rant, Minaj offered Bryant $10 million to fight her husband. Unsurprisingly, Bryant did not take her up on that offer, but the idea of a former NFL wide receiver fighting a man off the street did spark plenty of jokes.

Now, there has been a bit of a positive update in the chaos. Both sides of the petty war of words issued public apologies to each other via X (formerly Twitter).

“I really don’t like the misunderstanding we had between each other,” wrote Bryant. “I apologize for bringing up your husband’s past. It’s a shame only negative things make headlines between two Black people who have so much influence on our community […] The last thing I wanna do is argue over stupid s**t.”

Minaj accepted the apology. “Nothing makes me respect someone more than a public display of accountability.” She did still jokingly offer to put on the fight between Bryant and Petty, but wished Bryant “all the best” in conclusion.

Dez Bryant has previously called himself a fan of Nicki Minaj’s, and now the two appear to be back on cordial terms. That likely does not mean the relationship between her and Roc Nation is any less frosty than it already has been. Still, the peaceful ending to this spat is much preferable to continued mud-slinging.

“Sometimes the only way to survive this world… is to let the music break you open.” — Adam Lambert whispered, his voice shaking, just moments before the unimaginable unfolded. There were no bright lights. No backup dancers. Just Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, and a piano beneath a single spotlight—two icons standing in the hush of vulnerability. When Adam sang the first trembling notes of “Shallow”, his voice cracked with something deeper than sound: grief, gratitude, and raw humanity. Gaga reached for his hand mid-verse, her eyes wet, her harmony not flawless but real—the kind of real that stops time. The audience didn’t cheer. They didn’t dare. A thick, tearful silence wrapped the room. For four minutes, no one moved. And in the wings, Bradley Cooper—who once performed this very song with Gaga—stood frozen, his eyes red, hands clenched over his mouth. When the final note faded, he was seen whispering to a friend: “That wasn’t a cover. That was a resurrection.” This wasn’t just music. It was memory. It was love. It was a moment that no one who witnessed it will ever forget.

A Simpler Stage, A Deeper Impact Dressed in coordinated black and white, the pair radiated elegance and unity. Lady Gaga known for her bold, eccentric fashion – surprised the crowd with a sleek black gown and a classic updo, exuding timeless glamour. Beside her, Adam Lambert brought a touch of refined edge in a tailored white jacket and black trousers. As the lights dimmed and a single piano note rang out, the two stood facing each other — eyes locked, tension high — in front of a grand piano. Then, Lambert opened the song with the first haunting lines, his voice rich, vulnerable, and soaring. Gaga joined in softly, her voice delicate and raw.
