They said goodbye — but the music never really stopped. The Eagles, rock legends whose harmonies defined a generation, are flying back to Las Vegas for another round of breathtaking residency shows at the Sphere. After sell-out nights and standing ovations, fans weren’t ready to let go — and clearly, neither were they. Now, with their timeless sound echoing through one of the world’s most spectacular venues, The Eagles are proving once again: Hotel California always has room for one more unforgettable night.
Since September 2024, the Eagles have been playing four concerts a month at the state-of-the-art Las Vegas venue Sphere. The band had been scheduled to end its residency with four concerts in April 2025; now however, “due to overwhelming demand,” the Eagles have added four new Sphere shows in September.

The newly announced dates are scheduled for September 5, September 6, September 12, and September 13.
Tickets for those concerts go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. PT. Presale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, March 25, at 10 a.m. PT. Ticket prices start at $175.
Fans looking to purchase tickets early may want to check StubHub.
In addition, Vibee hospitality packages also will be available. The Vibee VIP package includes a two-night stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, the only resort attached to Sphere. It also offers priority entry to the venue, commemorative souvenirs, and access to a VIP lounge and a fan experience.
The Eagles’ Sphere residency now features a total of 36 shows. All of the performances take place on either a Friday or a Saturday.
The group’s other upcoming residency concerts are scheduled for April 4, April 5, April 11, and April 12.
More About the Eagles’ Sphere Residency
The Eagles’ Sphere performances generally have featured 20 songs, most of which are the group’s biggest hits and best-loved tunes. The shows also have included classics from band members Don Henley’s and Joe Walsh’s solo catalog.
Each song is synced up with a unique video presentation that’s projected on the spherical theaters many screens.
Eagles Touring Band’s Recent Lineup Change
In January, the Eagles announced that their longtime touring guitarist Steuart Smith had retired after being diagnosed with Parkinsonism. He was replaced by veteran musician Chris Holt, who also currently plays with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell’s current band, The Dirty Knobs.
Smith issued a statement regarding his retirement, writing, “It is with profound regret that, due to performance issues associated with my diagnosed Parkinsonism, I find that I must bow out of my role with the Eagles while I can still do so gracefully. It’s been a great quarter of a century and I had hoped to be able to finish out this year with the band, but I must now do what’s best for all concerned.”
Henley added, “The Eagles will be forever grateful for the extraordinary talents that [Steuart] brought to both our recordings and live performances. Steuart will be greatly missed, but he will always be part of our musical family.”
Smith began touring with the Eagles in 2001. He also contributed to the band’s 2007 studio album Long Road Out of Eden, as well as Henley’s solo albums Inside Job (2000) and Cass County (2015).
Holt, meanwhile, also appeared on Cass County. In addition, he’s performed live with many famous artists over the years, including Henley, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Walsh, Ringo Starr, and The Doobie Brothers.
Other Artists Playing Sphere in 2025
Several other artists have residencies lined up at Sphere in 2025. Dead & Company will play 18 concerts at the venue in March, April, and May. Country star Kenny Chesney has 15 shows scheduled in May and June. Backstreet Boys have a 15-show engagement at Sphere in July and August.
