In a heartfelt moment on The Osbournes podcast, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne opened up about the emotional history behind one of his most cherished possessions: a simple aluminum cross made by his father.

How Ozzy Osbourne was 'haunted' by his father's death… but ultimately suffered an eerily similar fate | Daily Mail Online

“My dad was a toolmaker,” Ozzy shared. “He made me this cross — real aluminum.”
Decades later, Ozzy still holds onto that very piece, a symbol that has evolved with him over the years. “I’ve made that cross out of all kinds of things since — aluminum, then gold,” he said, tracing the journey of the icon through time.

Sitting beside him, son Jack and daughter Kelly laughed as Ozzy explained that he has two prized pieces of jewelry — one of which Jack will inherit.

Jack joked, “I’m just gonna wear it around and go, ‘Yeah, this is my dad’s cross, no big deal.’” But beneath the humor lay a deeper truth — that the cross, forged by Ozzy’s father, is more than metal. It’s memory. It’s family.

As Jack put it simply: “My granddad made it for my dad.”
A legacy sealed in silver and passed down through rock royalty.
