The Fued Continues..
Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan have had a long-standing friendly feud.
Although the playful rivalry has been ongoing for years, it gained significant attention when the two country music stars argued on Instagram. Both artists own large farms and argued in a back-and-forth contest over who has the biggest tractors.
Blake Shelton posted over three years ago a hilarious photo of himself on a tractor where he wrote, “Never talk about the size of another man’s tractor….”
The comedic jab was pointedly aimed at Luke Bryan.
The hilarious internet squabble continued when Luke Bryan was confused for Blake Shelton while fishing with his son Tate. Quoting the hit television show The Office in the caption, Bryan said, “Identity theft is not a joke @blakeshelton.”
The Birthday Fued
The next instalment of their hilarious “feud” started when Shelton called out Bryan on his birthday.
On June 18th, Shelton celebrated his 49th birthday, which was filled with love, including a stunning tribute video made by Blake Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani.
He took the opportunity to start another online fight with his buddy by posting a thank you message on his Instagram about his birthday while simultaneously shaming Bryan for not reaching out.
“Thank you all for my happy birthday wishes!” Shelton wrote. “I love ya’ll! I’m kinda bummed though. @lukebryan is the only one of my friends that hasn’t reached out to me today. He’ll probably only do it now after he sees this.”
Three hours later, Shelton returned to Instagram with a hilarious update. He said, “Thanks again everybody. I still haven’t heard from Luke.. He’s probably just busy today.”
Three hours after that, Bryan finally responded by saying, “Happy birthday to everyone in the world today except [Blake Shelton]. Clearly you need to lay off the beers. ha.”
Only time will tell what the next hilarious Shelton and Bryan feud will contain. However, fans are surely excited to see what their two favorite stars come up with.
