Still Going Strong at 76

Robert Plant, now 76, once disappointed fans when he said he wouldn’t tour with Led Zeppelin again. But he surprised many by announcing a new album and tour. His latest project, Saving Grace, is set to release an album this September, and a fall tour will follow.

Plant recently showed that his voice is still powerful during a performance of Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll.” Fans were impressed by how strong he still sounds on stage.

Sharing the Stage with Alison Krauss

He has also been touring with bluegrass singer Alison Krauss, 53. During their shows, Plant performed some of his best-known songs. His voice, though deeper now, still connects with the crowd in a way few can.

One fan said, “I mean this guy and this band were gods. Those of us of age all had the Zep posters in our bedroom in the 70’s. It’s def odd to process the fact that they’re human after all as we see them older now but man…they were literal gods once to us when we were kids/teens. Just incredible.”

Another fan shared, “Robert is one of the only vocalists who’s voice didn’t really get worse with age, he just sounds different and deeper now but can still sing great.”

Aging with Grace and Talent

Many fans also noted how Plant has adapted to his changing voice. “Unlike a lot of artists who keep trying to attempt to sing like they are 20, Plant has wisely chosen to embrace the changes in his voice,” one fan commented.

Even after decades in the music world, Plant’s passion hasn’t faded. Since his start in the late ’60s, he’s stayed true to his love for music. His voice may have changed, but his ability to move an audience has not.

With new music on the way and tour dates ahead, Plant continues to show why he remains one of rock’s most respected performers.
