It was a night to remember at Nissan Stadium, and for Ella Langley, it was more than just another performance—it was a career-defining moment. The rising country star lit up the stage at CMA Fest 2025 with her chart-topping hit “Weren’t For The Wind,” and left the crowd cheering for more.

Dressed in a bold black leopard print dress with fringe and a western belt, Langley brought a mix of southern grit and rockstar confidence to the spotlight.

With every lyric, she owned her story—singing about the push and pull between freedom and the desire to stay grounded. Her voice was raw and real, and the crowd felt every word.

“Maybe I’d settle down, dig in some roots / Find me a farmhouse, find me a you…”
The lyrics hit home, especially coming from an artist who’s made a name by staying true to herself.

The hit track, featured on the deluxe edition of her debut album Still Hungover, recently shot to No. 1 on country radio—Langley’s first time topping the charts. Reflecting on the milestone backstage, she admitted how surreal it felt.

“You move to this town, everyone talks about getting a number one. But you don’t realize how hard that really is until you’re here doing it,” she shared. “So for this song to be my first? It’s crazy.”

Langley also couldn’t hide her excitement about performing at the iconic Nissan Stadium, calling it the “biggest stage of CMA Fest.”

“I mean, it’s a stadium! That’s wild,” she said, still in awe. “To walk out and see that sea of people… it’s something I’ll never forget.”

The performance came in the middle of a major year for Langley, who just wrapped a sold-out headlining tour and continues to hit the road with artists like Riley Green and Morgan Wallen. In fact, she’s gearing up to join Wallen again this weekend for back-to-back shows in Wisconsin.
