Global music icon Ed Sheeran is officially mastering a brand-new kind of craft, climbing straight to the top of the hops by brewing his very own beer right from the comfort of his home.

The “Shape of You” singer has recently taken delivery of several specialized, DIY craft beer kits. His goal? To have a fresh batch of custom home-brew ready to be pulled from the taps at his very own private pub, which sits nestled within the sprawling grounds of his £1.5 million country estate.

While taking a well-deserved hiatus from filling stadiums, the 29-year-old pop star has been spending his time during the lockdown experimenting with fermentation processes.

An insider shared the details with The Sun, noting, “Ed loves his beer—especially his real ales and craft beers.” The source further revealed that the singer-songwriter has been thoroughly enjoying the trial-and-error process of the new hobby. “He’s had a few kits delivered and has been having fun making his own drinks. They aren’t too bad, but he doesn’t think any of the major breweries have got anything to worry about just yet.”

This homegrown brewing venture is the perfect addition to Ed’s impressive property portfolio. Back in 2017, the singer converted an old, rustic barn on his Suffolk estate into a fully functioning, ultra-private watering hole. In a romantic nod to his 28-year-old wife, Cherry Lancaster Seaborn, he officially christened the establishment The Lancaster Lock.

The massive estate, which has playfully been dubbed “Sheeranville” by nearby locals, features an incredible setup for the private tavern. The Lancaster Lock boasts a fully stocked bar, an authentic brick pizza oven, and a dedicated outdoor barbecue area perfect for hosting friends. Perhaps most impressive of all, the entire barn is connected directly to the main residence via a secret, underground tunnel.

Ed’s dedication to the authentic British pub experience is no secret. Just last year, the musician successfully won a lengthy planning permission battle with local council officials, granting him the right to hang a massive, 16-foot-high traditional pub sign right outside the barn doors. Now, with his own custom ale bubbling away in the barrels, the ultimate musician’s retreat is officially complete.

In a thunderous Manchester night, Bruce Springsteen ignited the stage—and the crowd’s fury—when he brought out Bob Dylan for a surprise duet of “The Times They Are A-Changin’.” Just moments earlier, Springsteen took a sharp jab at the president who had recently mocked him as a “withered plum.” The crowd roared, not just for the music, but for the defiance. As Dylan’s raspy voice echoed through the arena, fists went up, tears streamed down cheeks, and chants of “Boss! Boss!” rang out. It wasn’t just a concert—it was rebellion set to melody. Springsteen didn’t need a speech; he let Dylan’s words strike like thunder. The message? They’re still here, still loud, and not backing down.
